Trisha Hessinger Named North American Spokesperson
for Firestone Tire & Service Centers Car Care Academies

Learn money saving tips during free nationwide car care seminars

MasterCareBloomingdale, Ill. (2004) – BFS Retail & Commercial Operations, LLC (BFRC) announced today that Trisha Hessinger will be the company’s new North American spokesperson for Car Care Academies, which are free, interactive seminars held at Firestone Tire & Service Centers and Tires Plus stores across the United States. In addition, BFRC announced the nationwide schedule for its 2004 Car Care Academy campaign.

"Hessinger has been teaching people the fundamentals of caring for their vehicle for over 15 years," said Victoria Condell, director of public relations for BFRC. "She has hosted numerous car care shows on television, and her expertise is unmatched. We are thrilled to have her as a part of the Firestone team."

Hessinger, a native of Allentown, Penn., has gained national acclaim as a leading authority on automotive issues, a reputation that she has gained through her career. She has been a key presenter and facilitator for automotive industry new product launches, a keynote and guest speaker for major auto manufacturers, and a contributing writer for various magazines and newspapers on automotive subjects. In addition, Trisha has competed in open wheel and showroom stock car races, is a celebrity race trainer and driving instructor, and is an official pace car driver for the Bridgestone Presents ChampCar World Series powered by Ford.

Firestone Tire & Service Centers have been educating consumers on the significance of tire and vehicle maintenance for more than 30 years through their free Car Care Academies. The workshops are geared toward helping consumers save time and money as well as promoting safety and awareness by teaching car care fundamentals. The Car Care Academies teach consumers what they can do on a monthly basis to help keep their cars in better condition.
